Who processes your data

DJS Digital is a sole trader website design business based in Beckenham, Kent. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), DJS Digital is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. What data I collect

This website only collects personal data if you choose to submit the enquiry form. When you do, I collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name (optional)
• The service you're interested in (optional)
• Your message

What I don't collect

This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party behavioural tracking. I don't build marketing lists, sell data, or share your details with advertisers. Site analytics tracking is switched off, so your visit is not recorded or profiled.

I only collect what I need to reply to your enquiry — nothing more.

Why I use your data and my legal basis

I use the information you provide for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if we go ahead, to prepare a quote and deliver the work. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries). By ticking the consent box on the form, you also confirm you're happy for me to use these details to reply to you.

Cookies

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies and local storage — for example, to remember that you've dismissed the cookie notice. No consent is needed for these because they don't track you. For full details, see the cookie policy.

Who else sees your data

Your enquiry is stored securely by the platform providers that host this website and its database, who process data on my behalf under contract. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Your data is never sold, rented, or used for anyone else's marketing.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry records only as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the business relationship and any legal bookkeeping obligations. Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and ask me to transfer it to you. If you'd like to do any of these, just email me.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new 'last updated' date.
